Specialty Programs

The Certified Peer Specialist is a flexible, responsive professional skilled in MH/CO screening and assessment, care coordination, recovery navigation and support, documentation, and caseload management. Working under the direction of BHDS crisis personnel, Peer Specialists engage with consumers, provide ongoing mental health recovery support, and may respond in-field as part of a mobile crisis team. They embody values of recovery orientation, person-centered service, voluntariness, focus on relationship, and trauma-informed care.

  • Engage with individuals and conduct MH/CO screening and assessment.

Blueprints’ Pathways to Recovery program is a post-arrest, pre-sentencing diversion program, whereby Blueprints’ CRS staff work with district attorneys and judges to promote treatment in lieu of sentencing. A successful CRS is personable, compassionate, and driven by client-centered recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the direction of the Second Chance PA program manager, Senior Leadership, and in collaboration with the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office (LCDAO) and Magisterial District Judges (MDJ).
